5. Dak Street's Back

Win Probability Added: +28.91
NEP: +6.02

By any possible measure, Dallas Cowboys rookie quarterback Dak Prescott is having an incredible season. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, was expected to be nothing more than a backup to Tony Romo, and now has solidified himself as the clear starter in Big D, while the veteran Romo holds his clipboard. The one thing that he hasn’t matched up to his predecessor, though -- the one black mark on his record -- has been a lack of passing touchdowns, and certainly no deep scores.

Methinks the young Prescott is starting to silence any critics who could possibly be left. With one simple drop back, Prescott made it look like he’d spent his whole life in the pros. Late in the third quarter, Dak took the snap, dropped back and evaded the Pittsburgh Steelers’ rush. He stepped up, simply flicked his wrist, and hit the streaking Dez Bryant in stride, 45 yards downfield. Concerns about arm strength? Gone. Concerns about poise? Gone. Dak is the real deal.
