Hill was fantastic this week against the Bengals, picking up 168 yards and a score on the ground on just 9 carries. He also added a pair of receptions for 24 yards, turning in quite the performance against the Cleveland Browns.
The Browns had very few answers in how to slow Hill this week. He showed that during a 74-yard touchdown run where he was able to patiently let his blocks develop, find his crease, accelerate into the second level and go all the way to the end zone. That play alone added +6.74 to his Total NEP, and Hill now ranks 3rd in Rushing NEP -- behind only Jay Ajayi and LeSean McCoy. Hill is now averaging 3.6 yards after contact. Only three other running backs have a higher clip.
Fantasy owners may have been frustrated with Hill's lack of consistency so far this season, but this was a prime matchup to play him. He rewarded fantasy owners by finishing as the overall RB4 in PPR scoring this week on just 11 total touches. He left the game early due to injury -- so his status will need to be monitored -- but he has another great matchup this week against Washington's soft run defense.
