Quarterback: Andrew Luck

Andrew Luck, QB, Indianapolis Colts
27 for 39, 353 Yards, 3 Touchdowns
5 Rushes, 17 Yards
Performance: 89, NEP: +17.53

After starting the season 2-4, the Colts desperately needed a win to stay alive in the AFC South. Luck did everything he could to help his team get the win by turning in a fantastic performance as this week's highest-performing quarterback, per numberFire's metrics. Luck completed 27 of 39 drop backs for 353 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also was able to pick up an additional 17 yards on the ground on 5 carries.

This game was back and forth for most of the day prior to the Colts putting it on ice in the fourth quarter. Luck completed passes to seven different receivers, but he heavily targeted both T.Y. Hilton and Jack Doyle. Hilton has now seen double-digit targets in six of seven games, averaging 12.7 targets per game. Doyle has emerged as a viable threat at the tight end position and had a terrific game in Dwayne Allen's absence.

Their play elevated Luck's numbers as Luck has been off to a fairly inefficient start to the season. His Success Rate -- plays that contribute towards positive Net Expected Points -- ranks below the league average, and it's subsequently led to him ranking 21st in Passing NEP.

While the efficiency may be lacking, the fantasy points certainly are not. Luck finished as the top overall fantasy scoring quarterback this week (standard scoring). He now ranks as the overall QB2 on the season, just behind Matt Ryan.
