5. Colts Enact Air Raid in London

Win Probability Added: +12.33
NEP: +6.79

Interestingly, this is our only top-five play this week that occurred in the fourth quarter of a game, but surely these kinds of late-game heroics are what the NFL envisioned when it took its game international. Nothing hooks new fans like deep bombs when times get desperate.

I’m betting Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck won over some British fans in this game, despite the Colts’ loss to the potent Jaguars’ offense. The play that certainly swooned Briton hearts was this third-and-long bomb that saw wide receiver Phillip Dorsett race past Jaguars’ cornerback Jalen Ramsey for a perfectly rainbowed reception that he waltzed into the end zone. In one fell swoop, the Colts cut the Jacksonville lead to just three points, but they couldn’t complete the comeback in the last three minutes.
