Baltimore Ravens

FanDuel Price: $4,500
Projections: 20.4 points allowed, 2.28 sacks, 1.5 turnovers, 0.2 touchdowns

If you can’t afford the services of Carolina or Denver this week, the Baltimore Ravens' defense is a great midrange option at just $4,500. We don’t project the Ravens as highly as either the Panthers or the Broncos, leaving them to be a GPP play only.

However, Vegas is in favor of the Ravens this weekend -- they’re 6.5-point favorites on the road against the Cleveland Browns, leaving the Browns with the third-lowest implied total of the week (18). Baltimore held the Buffalo Bills to just seven points in Week 1 and a “points allowed” bonus is in play again this week on FanDuel.

With Browns’ quarterback Robert Griffin III on injured reserve, the Cleveland Browns will turn to Josh McCown, who was sacked 23 times in just seven full games a season ago. The Ravens only sacked Bills’ quarterback Tyrod Taylor twice in Week 1, but that's partially due to Taylor attempting just 22 passes. If the Browns are trailing in the second half of this game, an increase in pass attempts could result in a higher sack total than our 2.28 projection.
