DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Helper: Friday 2/12/21

With 11 games to choose from on Friday's slate -- which locks at 7:00 p.m. EST -- let's look at the top options across all five positions for NBA DFS.

Be sure to check out our projections, which are updated throughout the day as news breaks, and our other DFS tools such as advanced stats and a matchup heat map.

Here are some of the top plays on today's DraftKings slate. As always, good luck.

Point Guard

Russell Westbrook ($9,000) - In case you didn't already know, Bradley Beal is going to miss Friday's game as he takes a rest day from his large workload. This is an opportunity for Westbrook -- already with 29.7% usage rate -- to absorb even a larger share of the play-making duties. According to NBAWowy, the star point guard possesses a monster 37% usage rate and produces 1.56 DraftKings points per minute with Beal off the court this season. At that rate, he needs just 29 minutes to exceed his salary-implied output.

LaMelo Ball ($8,600) - Ball's viability hinges on the status of teammate Devonte' Graham, who is listed as questionable going into Friday evening. If Graham is out, expect to see Ball start and play between 30 and 35 minutes against the Minnesota Timberwolves. If he does, that could mean a 50-point fantasy night from the young rookie, as he goes against a defense allowing nearly 50 DK points per game to point guards as well as a sky-high 115.7 real-world points per game on the defensive end.

Shooting Guard

Lou Williams ($5,800) - Paul George has missed the Clippers' last three games and will remain out Friday versus the Chicago Bulls. In his stead, Williams seems to have found his stride. Shooting north of 50% from the floor, he has averaged 22.7 points a game in route to 38.0 DK points over 26.7 minutes -- an average of 1.42 fantasy points per minute. That should play well with Chicago giving up the fourth-most points per game and playing at the league's third-fastest pace, according to NBA.com.

Raul Neto ($4,200) - As Washington looks to fill the temporary void without Beal, Neto may be the prime candidate to replace him in the starting lineup. He played 27 minutes and went for 21.5 DK points in his last time out, starting in place of Westbrook, and though he's been limited in his playing time, Neto has averaged 20.3 DK points in starts. Whether or not you're rolling with Westbrook, Neto is a good source of value on this jam-packed slate.

Small Forward

Kawhi Leonard ($9,500) - No PG, no problem, right? Well, maybe not entirely. But even with George sidelined, the Clippers are lucky enough to have another monster player on the wing. Leonard is averaging a very nice 46.5 DK points per game on the season, but if you were to take his 1.39 DK points per minute without George on the floor and multiply it by his 34.3 minutes a game, you get an average 1.2 points higher. But to add to Kawhi's potential, he has played 37, 35 and 37 minutes in the last three games. Oh -- and he gets that vulnerable Bulls defense we already talked about. A 50-to-60 fantasy-point game is definitely in the realm of possibilities.

Joe Ingles ($5,900) - On Friday night, the Utah Jazz are expected to be without point man Mike Conley for a third game in a row, immediately boosting the outlook for Ingles. The veteran wing has stepped in as a starter and has done well, producing 15.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists over the last two games, during which he's averaged 30.5 DK points in 34 minutes of work. Even before that, he was able to accumulate a double-double and 35 DK points in 28 minutes. A pace-up game with the Milwaukee Bucks provides him with a high floor in this matchup.

Power Forward

Julius Randle ($9,100) -- For all the attention the Wizards players will get, the New York Knicks' primary scorer -- averaging a career-best 22.3 points a game -- is not to be slept on. Though he is coming off a poor performance (4-for-18 shooting and 29.5 DK points) against the Miami Heat, Randle will get a boost from the Washington pace and defense. The Wiz check in 29th in defensive rating and 1st in pace of play at 104.2 possessions a game. With Randle producing on the team with the slowest pace, imagine what he can do here tonight.

Kyle Kuzma ($5,900) - In yet another piece of injury news, Anthony Davis is questionable to play after missing the last two games due to an Achilles injury. He has been doing some work, but with the Lakers playing it cautious to this point, it would be surprising to see him in the lineup. And given that, Kuzma should draw another start at the power forward spot. In his last two starts, he has scored in double-digits and averaged 30.9 DK points. Overall for the season, he's averaged 14.3 points and 31.5 minutes in the six games he has started. There's no reason to think he won't flirt with 30 fantasy points against the Memphis Grizzlies at Staples Center.

Center

Nikola Jokic ($10,700) - If you can stomach a few low-salary values, Jokic is the unquestioned top dog on this evening's slate. He is averaging nearly 60 DK points per game overall, but in the friendly confines of Ball Arena, he has increased his output to 63.1 a night while adding to his contributions across all categories. Against the Oklahoma City Thunder, he draws a matchup versus a middle-of-the-pack defense that has been hit up for some big games of late. If you think OKC can keep it close enough, the Joker could prove to be worth the jump in salary from the likes of Westbrook and Leonard.

Isaiah Stewart ($3,100) - Stewart is one player who won't put a dent in your salary cap tonight. He comes in near the minimum and appears to be in line for a second straight start -- his second career start -- for Detroit. Mason Plumlee may not play because of an elbow issue that caused him to sit out on Thursday, which allowed the rookie center to go for 17 points and 33.25 DK points in 31 minutes. Even something around only 20-plus minutes should prove enough for Stewart to reach his salary-implied total of 15.5 fantasy points.
