3 NBA Player Prop Bets to Target on Thursday 12/26/19

Andre Drummond takes on a very beat up Wizards' lineup, who are lacking big men. Should we look at his rebounding prop bet tonight with this easy matchup?

Player props can be useful in a variety of ways, from taking advantage of them straight up (to the tune of cold hard cash), to measuring a player's potential to produce in daily fantasy basketball.

While you can use those odds in fantasy, you can also utilize our fantasy projections and a variety of other tools to help make money on betting everyday player props.

For the purposes of this article, we are using the odds provided at FanDuel Sportsbook to pinpoint three spots where value can be had on a player's stat line, scoring, or even shot type.

Please note that betting lines and our game projections may change throughout the day after this article is published.

Kristaps Porzingis, Over 20.5 Points

Kristaps Porzingis is going for his seventh-straight game of at least 19 points for the Dallas Mavericks as they welcome in-state rival, the San Antonio Spurs. Porzingis is averaging a double-double (22 points, 12.8 rebounds) over his past six games and has recorded a double-double in five of six contests. Not to continue beating the drum, but Porzinigis' value and chances to score 20 points without Luka Doncic are very high no matter the opponent. He's scored 20 or more in five of his last six games and the Mavericks have remained an elite scoring team ranking fourth in points per game with 117.2.

Porzingis recorded 18 points and 10 rebounds versus the Spurs on November 18th while Doncic stole the show scoring 42 points. Our model projects Porzingis at his lowest point total (16.9) of the last seven games with Luka Doncic potentially coming back. If Doncic remains sidelined, continuing riding Porzingis' over.

Andre Drummond, Over 17.5 Rebounds

Andre Drummond is coming off a 27-point performance that featured only his second game of the entire season he recorded under 10 rebounds. Tonight, he should be in for a potential 20-rebound night against the worst rebounding team in the league. The Wizards are last averaging 41.6 rebounds per game while Drummond is first in the league with 16.1 himself.

The Detroit Pistons' center is 18th in Player Efficiency Rating (22.95) and has averaged 19 points and 14.2 rebounds over his last 10 games. Drummond against the Wizards in 2018-19 averaged 24 points and 14 rebounds plus 3.5 steals in two games. Drummond has recorded 18 or more rebounds in 12 of 29 games this season and 15 points and 24 rebounds against the Wizards on November 4th.

Bradley Beal, Over 31.5 Points

Bradley Beal is back on a scoring tear as he's recorded 30 or more points in four of his last five games with at least nine three-point attempts in all five. The Washington Wizards are top five in the league in points per game (117.5) and offensive rating (112.1) with Beal leading the charge. Beal is averaging 28.3 points (5th) on the season and 6.8 assists (12th) per game.

He's averaged 32.6 points, 6.4 assists, and 5.8 rebounds over his past five games. He's projected to be the leading scorer in the league tonight with 26.8 points tonight versus the Pistons. In a win over the Pistons, Beal recorded 22 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds on November 4th and scored 32, 21 and 16 in three contests versus Detroit last season.
