5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 11/25/19

Brad Wanamaker is set for an expanded role tonight, as the Celtics take on the Kings. Is he the top value play at only $4K?

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you need to consider squeezing in one of these lower-priced options into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three players who can help fill in the gaps in your lineup.

Tony Bradley, C, Utah Jazz ($4,000)

With Rudy Gobert listed as questionable, we should see Tony Bradley getting the start at center.

Gobert missed the most recent game for the Utah Jazz, which put Bradley into the starting lineup for the first time this season. He played 21 minutes and posted a very productive 25.8 FanDuel points in the process, a level he can exceed tonight. We have an over/under sitting at 222.5 points versus the Milwaukee Bucks. This is a massive pace-up spot for the Jazz, as they rank 21st in the league, while the Bucks rank 2nd fastest. Extra possessions on offense have always been a strong indicator of fantasy production, which we should be seeing from Bradley tonight.

The Bucks are allowing 52.3 FanDuel points per game to centers this season, right around the league average, but Bradley only needs 20 FD points in order to reach 5x value. A modest price tag, a pace-up spot, and a high over/under make this a great spot for Bradley.

Brad Wanamaker, PG, Boston Celtics ($4,000)

Over the weekend, we saw Kemba Walker go down in a scary injury, which should keep him out for a few days.

Walker was taken off on a stretcher, but reports indicate he is doing well as of now. He is listed as doubtful for this game, though, which means we should see an expanded role for Brad Wanamaker at point guard for the Boston Celtics tonight.

Wanamaker was already playing in the high-teens or low-twenties when it comes to minutes with Walker in the lineup, a clear backup role. But with Walker set to be out tonight, we have Wanamaker projected for over 30 minutes and 25.1 FanDuel points, making him our second-best value option on the entire slate.

All we need is the confirmed starting lineup for the Celtics and the opportunity to lock Wanamaker in at only $4K tonight.

Carmelo Anthony, SF, Portland Trail Blazers ($4,800)

With a 226-point over/under, the Portland Trail Blazers at Chicago Bulls game is a clear spot for fantasy production.

Carmelo Anthony made his debut for Portland last week, and most people don't know what to do with him in NBA DFS. How much is he playing? How much of a role in the offense will he play? Big questions we need the answer to when it comes to NBA DFS, but we got a clear answer over the weekend when the played the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Melo got the start at power forward, and he played 34 minutes and took 15 field goal attempts. Those are some very clear indicators of what we should be expecting from him going forward, all of which should be useful tonight.

He is up against the Bulls, who are allowing 52.4 FanDuel points per game to opposing power forwards, which is dead last in the league. Melo is listed as a small forward, but could certainly be in the starting lineup at PF, presenting him with a great opportunity to rack up fantasy points.

Jarrett Culver, SF, Minnesota Timberwolves ($4,000)

While he might not be in the starting lineup, Jarrett Culver makes a great value play tonight.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are on the road to take on the Atlanta Hawks, where the over/under is set at 234.5 points -- the highest on the slate. This will not be a 'sneaky' spot by any standard -- everyone will be looking here for fantasy production. Minnesota has Josh Okogie listed as questionable for this game and Treveon Graham on track to play, meaning Culver should be coming off the bench.

We still have Culver projected for 26 minutes and 24 FanDuel points, making him the best overall value at small forward tonight, and the fourth-best value option regardless of position.

The Hawks are allowing 46.7 FanDuel points to small forwards this season -- dead last in the league -- making this the ideal matchup to attack. It should also be noted that both teams are in the top-10 when it comes to pace, putting this game a step above any other on the slate for potential scoring.

Darius Garland, PG, Cleveland Cavaliers ($3,900)

At under $4K, Darius Garland could play nearly 30 minutes tonight versus the Brooklyn Nets.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are hosting the Nets tonight, where the over/under is a modest 217 points, but it's still a great defensive matchup for Garland. The Nets are allowing a whopping 51.1 FanDuel points per game to point guards, the fourth-most in the league.

It's a very easy matchup to attack, along with the fact the Cavaliers are playing up in pace by a significant margin tonight. Cleveland are 26th in pace this season, while Brooklyn comes in as the 5th-fastest team. It's a big step up for the Cavaliers tonight, who are one-point home favorites.

We have Garland projected for nearly 27 minutes and going for 23 FanDuel points tonight, which makes him the second-best value at point guard tonight. Between Garland and Wanamaker, you have two players who are under $8K combined and could play close to 60 minutes total.
