NBA Daily Fantasy Helper: Sunday 3/11/18

With James Harden expected to sit, Chris Paul becomes the main man in Houston. Which other players should you target tonight?

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to help give you an edge.

Here, we'll put all of that together and take a look at who you should target on today's main slate, which starts at 7:00 p.m. EST and features four games.

Best of the Best

Chris Paul ($8,200): Paul should be popular with James Harden expected to sit, and he was already going to be a nice target thanks to a matchup against a Dallas Mavericks team that is on the second night of a back-to-back set. Per NBAWowy, with Harden off the floor this year, CP3's usage rate jumps to 31.2%, and he produces a pristine 1.61 FanDuel points per minute. Yes, please. Our models have Paul pegged at 42.5 FanDuel points -- or 5.18 per $1,000 in salary.
