John Wall has been on a roll and has a favorable matchup with the Nets. Who else should you target today in NBA DFS contests?

If you're new to daily fantasy basketball -- maybe you started your DFS journey during the MLB or NFL seasons, or maybe basketball is your sport and this will be your first year giving it a shot -- you're in for a treat. The NBA scene changes hugely on a week-to-week, day-to-day, and -- depending on injury news -- even a minute-to-minute basis, making every slate a unique one that requires an ever-changing approach.

With so much changing so quickly, we're here with plenty of tools to help you out. We have daily projections, a matchup heat map, a lineup optimizer, and a ton of other great resources to help give you an edge.

We'll also be coming at you with this primer every day, breaking down a few of the day's top plays at each price point.

Let's take a look at who you should target on today's main slate, which features just four games.

Best of the Best

John Wall (FanDuel Price: $10,500) - It has been over a month since Wall returned from a knee injury that knocked him out for a few weeks, and he finally looks like the All-Star point guard we all know and love. Wall has scored at least 20 real-world points in five of his last six games while posting consecutive 30-point nights his previous two times out. Since December 31st, the Washington Wizards' star is averaging 25.3 points, 4.2 rebounds,10.8 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.8 blocks for 49.7 FanDuel points per night. His matchup against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday is about as good as it gets as the Wizards boast the second-highest implied total while Brooklyn has been unable to slow down point guards, allowing the fourth-most FanDuel points to the position.
