Daily Fantasy Basketball Injury Report: Friday 3/3/17

Friday's 10-game slate has a couple of key injuries that open up some nice value plays. What should you know about?

Even with 10 NBA games tonight, the injury report is pretty manageable.

The question marks are limited, and that should help you spend more time diving into research on your lineups rather than simply watching the news for updates on situations. But, as is always the case with the NBA, that doesn't mean we aren't waiting for some news.

Notable Injuries

Miami Heat

The Miami Heat are the team to watch tonight when it comes to injuries. Even though everyone participated in shootaround, Dion Waiters is still questionable. If he can't go, Wayne Ellington and Josh Richardson will gain a load of minutes, and Rodney McGruder could get some more run too.

Willie Reed also got in the mix and participated in shootaround this morning after missing the last two games. If he is back, it could cut into Hassan Whiteside and James Johnson's minutes. However, the guy you need to watch for the most at this point is Waiters.

San Antonio Spurs

Manu Ginobili will sit out either tonight or Saturday with the San Antonio Spurs facing a back-to-back. They play the New Orleans Pelicans tonight followed by the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday, so keep an eye on his status.

Also, Tony Parker is not on the injury report for tonight after missing Wednesday, so it looks like he'll play.

Willy Hernangomez, New York Knicks

Willy Hernangomez is out again on Friday with a sprained ankle. Kristaps Porzingis started at center with Lance Thomas picking up most of Hernangomez's minutes on Wednesday. Kyle O'Quinn should also see close to 20 minutes as well.

Wesley Matthews, Dallas Mavericks

The last we heard about Wesley Matthews was that he was scheduled for some tests on his hip. We have heard no updates on his status for Friday, so if he sits again, Dorian Finney-Smith should get the start, while Seth Curry and Harrison Barnes will pick up some more shots.

Rodney Hood, Utah Jazz

Rodney Hood's troublesome knee is going to cost him another game on Friday. Look for Joe Ingles potentially to start, while Alec Burks seems to be a nice upside candidate off the bench.

Victor Oladipo, Oklahoma City Thunder

Victor Oladipo will not play tonight or Sunday for the Oklahoma City Thunder with back spasms. Coach Billy Donovan seems to be going with a hot hand approach with Alex Abrines and Doug McDermott. Look for those two to benefit the most.

C.J. Watson, Orlando Magic

After missing only three games thanks to the All-Star Break, C.J. Watson will be back tonight for the Orlando Magic. This should cut into D.J. Augustin's minutes and could take a few away from Elfrid Payton depending on how many minutes Watson will play. Keep an eye on the news for more updates to this situation.

Lesser Injuries

Gerald Henderson, Philadelphia 76ers

Gerald Henderson will miss the next two games for the Philadelphia 76ers, so in his place, look for Nik Stauskas and Timothe Luwawu to gain the most value.

Mike Dunleavy, Atlanta Hawks

Mike Dunleavy is out again on Friday, so look for Taurean Prince to gain some more value tonight but not enough to consider rostering.

Thomas Robinson, Los Angeles Lakers

Thomas Robinson saw minutes for the first time in over a month this past Sunday, but he missed Tuesday's game with an illness. He is probable tonight and could see minutes in the low teens.
