Daily Fantasy Basketball Injury Report: Wednesday 3/1/17

It's another huge night of NBA action. With an 11-game DFS slate on tap, the injury report is full of situations you need to know about before roster lock.

Notable Injuries

New York Knicks

The biggest bit of information for the New York Knicks is that Guillermo Hernangomez will sit out tonight due to a sprained ankle. This should immediately make Kyle O'Quinn one of the more popular plays of the evening. Kristaps Porzingis is ready to play on Wednesday and could be looking at big minutes with a thin New York frontcourt.

Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers are also dealing with some frontcourt issues, as Rakeem Christmas and Al Jefferson listed as questionable. Christmas has played well with Jefferson out and if both are unable to play, Lavoy Allen could be a sneaky value play, as could Thaddeus Young, who might have to play more minutes.

DeMarcus Cousins, New Orleans Pelicans

Thanks to his 18th technical foul of the season, DeMarcus Cousins will sit out tonight, which should make Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday very popular.

Kyle Lowry, Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors will be without Kyle Lowry for the foreseeable future because of wrist surgery. That means Cory Joseph and DeMar DeRozan will be doing some heavy lifting in the meantime, with guys like Serge Ibaka and Jonas Valanciunas potentially picking up a few more shots.

Aaron Gordon, Orlando Magic

Aaron Gordon is officially listed as questionable in the Orlando Magic game notes with a quad contusion. If he is out, the Magic might be forced to go small with guys like Jeff Green and Mario Hezonja picking up minutes at power forward.

Wesley Matthews, Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks will be without Wesley Matthews tonight, who is dealing with a hip injury. Dorian Finney-Smith will enter the starting lineup in his place.

Michael Beasley, Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks have been getting great play out of Michael Beasley, but he hurt his left knee and will be out at least for the next three games. In his place on Wednesday, the Bucks will have to turn more to Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton.

Tony Parker, San Antonio Spurs

Tony Parker is questionable with a quad injury. If he is unable to play, Dejounte Murray could start, while Patrick Mills would also be an excellent tournament option.

Lesser Injuries

Willie Reed, Miami Heat

Willie Reed will be out again for the Miami Heat on Wednesday. Look for Hassan Whiteside and James Johnson to soak up his minutes.

Mike Dunleavy, Atlanta Hawks

Mike Dunleavy will also be out on Wednesday, missing his third straight game. He isn't playing a ton of minutes, but Taurean Prince and Tim Hardaway Jr. have seen a few more minutes during his recent absence.

Caris LeVert, Brooklyn Nets

Caris LeVert could not play Saturday because of an illness, but he is ready to return tonight and he will be in the starting lineup.

Arron Afflalo, Sacramento Kings

Arron Afflalo has missed the Sacramento Kings' last three games with a hamstring injury, but is probable for tonight. This throws another piece into the logjam at guard for the Kings, so there is no guarantee he sees many minutes. If he does play, it could take away minutes from Ben McLemore and Buddy Hield.
