3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 3/21/19

The Phoenix Suns have been playing excellent basketball over the past couple of weeks. Sure, there have been some bad outings (like a 15-point home loss to the Chicago Bulls), but those have been outweighed by wins over the Golden State Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks, and an eight-point loss to the Houston Rockets, in which they were leading heading into the fourth quarter.

A major part of that success has been the play of Kelly Oubre, who moved to the Suns from the Washington Wizards in December. If the Suns want to beat the Detroit Pistons tonight, however, they'll have to do so without Oubre, who will miss his second-straight game with a thumb injury. With him out, the main beneficiary should once again be Josh Jackson, who put up 30.75 DraftKings points in that loss to the Bulls without Oubre on the court.

Jackson has gone through stretches of stellar play this season but had been relegated to a lesser role when March rolled around. He's been back to his solid play given his 30-plus minutes in each of the past two games, and we should expect that to happen again this evening. We currently project him for 24.2 DraftKings points, which would return a value of over 5.0 DraftKings points per $1,000.
