3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 1/2/19

While losing John Wall for the season is obviously a huge hit to the Washington Wizards, there is a silver lining in the play of shooting guard Bradley Beal, whose numbers skyrocket when his teammate is off the court.

In 32 games with Wall on the court this season, Beal has put up averages of 22.3 points, 4.7 boards, 4.3 assists, and 38.6 DraftKings points per game. In five games without Wall, those numbers become a Harden-esque 31.3, 6.2, 7.4, and 58.6, respectively.

One of those five games without Wall came against the Atlanta Hawks, tonight's opponent. Beal put up 58.5 DraftKings points in that game and will have every opportunity to match that type of output again in a game with a total set at 229.5 points -- tied for the second-highest on the slate.

Our models have Beal projected for 43.5 DraftKings points tonight with upside for 66.0. His price may have climbed recently, but at less than $9,000, he's still a bargain in this role.
