After posting 81 first-half points against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Nets took the chance to rest Brook Lopez in the second half of their last game. He appeared to be on his way to another huge performance in that one, with 27.3 FanDuel points in just 23 minutes. In the four games prior to that, Lopez averaged 42.8 FanDuel points.

His Nets are also expected to see a sizable increase in scoring tonight, as Vegas has their implied team total set at 111.50 points, which is a healthy six-point improvement over their season average and is the third-highest total on the slate.

Lopez also should benefit from the soft interior defense of the Magic, who have allowed the seventh-most FanDuel points to opposing centers. Orlando has allowed the third-highest points per possession in the post this season, an area in which Lopez thrives -- he ranks third this season after ranking second last season.

Considering the way he has played recently, the advantageous matchup and the positive game script, Lopez seems criminally underpriced -- a sentiment our projections would agree with. Among the five most expensive centers on the slate, our projections have Lopez as clearly the best value. He is a terrific play in any format.
