Marcin Gortat, C, Washington Wizards

FanDuel Price: $5,700

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Marcin Gortat has seen somewhat erratic playing time since Ian Mahinmi has returned for the Washington Wizards, topping 30 minutes in just three of his past nine games. Among a center player pool that has plenty of viable options, it'd be surprising if Gortat was popular in a matchup that doesn't jump off the page.

Why You Should Use Him:

While Gortat has been frustratingly inconsistent recently, his price has fallen to a point at which he can easily crush value if given minutes, as displayed by the two double-doubles in the two most recent games he's seen 30-plus minutes.

If he sees that kind of burn, he could certainly put up a productive line against the defensively-challenged Karl-Anthony Towns. For all his offensive ability, Towns has been a liability on defense, ranking 52nd among 62 centers in defensive real plus-minus (DRPM) last season and 67th among 69 this season.

As a result, the Wolves have allowed the ninth-most FanDuel points to opposing centers.

Gortat's inconsistency makes him hard to trust in cash formats. However, his upside is enough to make him an appealing tournament option at his depressed price tag.
