FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Tuesday 10/16/18

J.D. Martinez has been relatively quiet at the plate since homering in Game 1 of the ALDS. Will he bust out against Dallas Keuchel and the Astros on Tuesday's two-game slate?

The MLB postseason is going by quickly, and Tuesday marks one of our last chances to play a multi-game, full-roster slate. Toss in a few lineups while you still can! The slate begins with the Houston Astros hosting the Boston Red Sox at 5:09 p.m. EST, followed by the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers at 9:09 p.m. EST.

Our daily helper is available every day to analyze FanDuel's main slate and help give you a starting point when you're building lineups. Be sure to also incorporate our great tools into your research process. Whether you're looking for daily projections, the latest starting lineups and weather, or batting and pitching heat maps to find the best matchups -- we've got you covered!

On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.

Pitchers to Target

Rich Hill ($9,600 on FanDuel): Rich Hill certainly didn't inspire a whole lot of confidence in his NLDS appearance against the Atlanta Braves, walking 5 and allowing 2 earned runs over 4 1/3 innings with just 3 strikeouts. Even so, on paper he's the best option going today, with the best SIERA (3.57) and strikeout rate (27.4%) among Tuesday's four starters. However, the downside is he's far and away the most expensive hurler, too, and as we've seen for many starters in these playoffs, chances are he won't get much leeway to work through any trouble. Still, he's shown nice upside this season and is the most likely to come through with a big score on a short slate.
