Wilmer Flores, 2B, Arizona Diamondbacks

Price: $3,000

This probably doesn't come as much of a surprise, but we're going to start with tonight's Coors Field matchup between the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks, which has a slate-high 11-run over/under, leaving the teams with the two highest implied totals on the slate as well.

The Rockies will start a southpaw in Tyler Anderson, and while we've only got a four-game sample from Anderson in 2019, he's really struggled, with a 4.93 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) and 11.6% walk rate, which are both on pace to be career-worsts.

Even if we don't want to read too much into a small sample, he only managed a 4.22 SIERA in 2018, giving up a 39.3% fly-ball rate that will always be a red flag in the thin air at Coors Field.

Wilmer Flores has struggled through 88 plate appearances this season, but he's topped a .330 wOBA and .200 ISO in two of his last three seasons, so small-sample struggles that come with a .254 batting average on balls in play (BABIP) in 2019 don't mean too much.

Dating back to the start of the 2016 season, Flores has made 396 plate appearances against southpaws. In that split he has turned in a 33.4% hard-hit and 46.5% fly-ball rate, which has translated to a .342 wOBA and .217 ISO.

That production is strong enough to put him in play against Anderson in most ballparks, so getting him with the high implied total at Coors is icing on the cake.
