Drew Butera, C, Colorado Rockies

Price: $2,500

Drew Butera, the only Rockies bat priced below $3,000 whom we project to start tonight, doesn't tend to produce well, but he's got plenty of power upside with the platoon advantage.

We have to go back to the start of the 2015 season to get even a 189-plate-appearance sample against southpaws for Butera, but in that time, he boasts a solid 36.9% hard-hit rate and 39.5% fly-ball rate.

That hasn't translated to much production, but with a .256 BABIP and only a 6.4% home run-to-fly-ball rate, there's still room for optimism -- especially at Coors Field.

His floor against Robbie Ray is certainly low. Even when he's struggling, Ray boasts some strong strikeout upside. Ray is also on pace to allow a hard-hit rate north of 40% for the third straight season though, and he hasn't posted a fly-ball rate lower than 38.5% since 2016.
