Similarly, the Seattle Mariners are another west coast team that may not be very popular, even though they face one of the worst pitchers on the entire slate.

Owning a career 5.52 ERA, Bryan Mitchell hasn't done anything to improve his stock this year, posting a 6.58 ERA, 6.41 SIERA, 9.8% strikeout rate, and 14.8% walk rate over 53 1/3 innings.

While Denard Span might grab some ownership at just $3,000, the higher-priced Mariners like Nelson Cruz probably won't. As usual, Cruz is showing plenty of upside against righties, producing a 39.3% hard-hit rate and 37.4% fly-ball rate on his way to a .257 ISO and .415 expected weighted on-base average (xwOBA) in the split. Safeco Field may not be the greatest hitter's park, but this is the right matchup for Seattle to roll, which could pay dividends if the chalk doesn't hit.
