For obvious reasons, we tend to avoid the Colorado Rockies on the road, but it might be worth making an exception against the Angels' Odrisamer Despaigne. Despaigne has held an unremarkable career, with a modest 4.66 SIERA and 14.1% strikeout rate over 339 innings. Between the bullpen and rotation this year, he's put up a disastrous 6.35 ERA over 28 1/3 innings, and while a 4.14 SIERA and .356 BABIP suggests some bad luck, he's also allowing a 37.0% hard-hit rate with just a 40.7% ground-ball rate.

While there are better overall matchups and hitting venues, there's some merit to taking a shot at some Rockies, including Nolan Arenado. Arenado has slugged 14 of 31 of his home runs on the road -- so he can still get it done away from Coors -- and he's producing an appealing 40.7% hard-hit rate and 37.2% fly-ball rate against righties. With fairly limited options to pay up for at third base, Arenado will ensure your lineup has a different look in tournaments.
