David Price, SP, Boston Red Sox

FanDuel Price: $8,000

We recommended David Price as an avoid in his last start against the New York Yankees, and he was absolutely shelled (allowing four runs and two walks in one inning). He likely won't fare much better against the Los Angeles Angels tonight.

Through three starts this season, Price simply isn't making batters miss as much as he used to. He has just a 9.4% swinging-strike rate and a 19.0% strikeout rate, both of which are mediocre numbers are far below where he once was in his heyday. Because of that, we should expect his 2.40 ERA to regress closer to his 4.59 SIERA.

He also has to deal with the majors' second-best lineup against left-handed pitching. So far, only the Yankees (149) have posted a higher wRC+ against left-handed pitching than the Angels (134). That mark was compiled largely without Ian Kinsler, who returned from the disabled list late last week and has been raking since.

With Price, there's also the risk that his hand injury resurfaces and he is forced to leave the start early yet again. With so much risk and a lack of upside against this tough Angels lineup, don't go targeting Price.
