The Arizona Diamondbacks' 5.27 implied total is the third-highest on the slate (and the highest for any of the non-Coors Field teams) as they take on the San Diego Padres and righty Trevor Cahill.

Cahill is coming off a 2016 season that saw him post an uninspiring 3.93 SIERA, while he had an especially tough time with left-handed bats, conceding a 35.5% hard-hit rate with a 4.75 xFIP. Those numbers may get him into some trouble against a slugger like Jake Lamb, especially at the hitter-friendly Chase Field.

Lamb crushed right-handed pitching for a 42.3% hard-hit rate in 2016, and while his 87 plate appearances in 2017 aren't a big sample size, he has posted a great 40.4% hard-hit rate with only a 5.8% soft-hit rate to start the season.
