Jose Martinez, OF, St. Louis Cardinals

FanDuel Price: $2,200

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

So is there anything that Bryce Harper cannot do? By his current standards, Tuesday's 18.2-FanDuel-point night ranks as a dud compared to his two 50-plus games he's sandwiched in over the last three games. He's sure to be highly owned coming off those types of performances.

St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Jose Martinez finds himself trying to find at-bats in a crowded outfield that has Dexter Fowler, who hit two homers yesterday, Stephen Piscotty, Randal Grichuk and Matt Adams. With only 41 plate appearances under his belt over the last two seasons, the relatively unknown 28-year-old should see low ownership.

Why You Should Use Him:

Martinez has a chance for some major upside in Thursday's matchup at Miller Park. For starters, over the last three seasons, the Milwaukee Brewers home stadium has ranked as one of the league's best in terms of home run factor, checking in third.

Secondly, assuming Martinez can find his way into the lineup, he'll get a nice draw against Zach Davies. The Brewers starter was fantastic in 2016 -- over 163 1/3 innings pitched, Davies went 11-7 with a solid 4.07 SIERA, striking out a respectable 19.7% of batters faced.

But Davies hasn't been good at the start of 2017. He has been ripped over his first three starts to the tune of an 8.79 ERA, 5.07 SIERA, and 10 extra-base hits over 71 batters faced. Right-handed hitters have been the primary culprits -- while lefties have posted a healthy .346 wOBA, righties have obliterated Davies to the tune of a .555 wOBA.

Martinez has been strong to start 2017 in limited at bats -- over his 23 plate appearances, he's racked up a robust 1.072 OPS. With a struggling starter on the bump, a great park for power, and a cheap price point, Martinez could be a sneaky play on the day.
