Leeds vs. Everton

Leeds to win +110

Leeds are off to a strong 2W-1D-1L start this season, including a massive 3-0 victory over Chelsea. Leeds are 2-0-0 at home this campaign, and they look like a much-improved side over last year’s team, one that was nearly relegated. Even in a loss last week to Brighton, Leeds were outshot just 13-10 and had 58% of the possession.

Everton are coming off one of their most disappointing seasons in recent history, as they finished in 16th place in 2021-22. This year they have not started any better at 0-2-2, which puts them in 18th place. This is despite playing a manageable schedule so far that has consisted of Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Brentford over the last three games.

Everton look like they may be legitimate relegation candidates once again this season, and they will face a difficult challenge on the road against an improving and in-form Leeds squad. I like getting the hosts at plus-money to win.

Bournemouth vs. Wolves

Wolves to win +115

Bournemouth have lost three consecutive games, but they have faced a brutal schedule to start the year. Bournemouth lost to Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool the last three weeks, but they did defeat Aston Villa, 2-0, at home to start the season.

Still, despite the difficult schedule, Bournemouth have an astounding -14 goal difference and a -6.1 expected goal (xG) differential, according to FBRef, both of which are last in the league so far this season. So while they've had a hard road so far, the Cherries have looked every bit the part of a bottom-dweller.

They face a Wolves side that are 0-2-2 to start the year, but Wolves have only a -2 goal difference and a -1.8 xG differential. Wolves finished 10th in the league last season and have established themselves as a legitimate Premier League side in recent years.

This match figures to be a difficult task for Bournemouth, who are still licking their wounds after losing their last three games by a combined score of 16-0. Wolves should get all three points.

Liverpool vs. Newcastle

Newcastle and Draw +250

Liverpool are coming off their 9-0 smackdown against Bournemouth, but they have been somewhat disappointing overall so far season and actually find themselves below Newcastle in the standings.

Liverpool went 0-1-2 in their three games prior to Bournemouth, including draws against Fulham and Crystal Palace, two sides that project to be average -- at best -- EPL teams this season.

Newcastle are off to a good start at 1-3-0, including a 3-3 home draw against Manchester City. The Magpies have proven they can hang with anyone and should be able to put up a good fight at Anfield.

Liverpool are rightfully the favorite, but they will have to earn the three points in this contest. Getting Newcastle to win or draw at more than 2-1 odds is a tempting proposition.
