Raheem Sterling, Midfielder, Manchester City

Salary: $11,000

Tied with United’s Paul Pogba as the top-priced midfielder, Sterling has averaged 24.48 FanDuel points this season while scoring at least 20 FanDuel points in three straight matches. Over his last seven Premier League starts, Sterling has taken nine shots, with five on target, and created 18 chances while recording one goal and one assist.

The Citizens have a 85.7% chance of beating the Magpies, per oddsmakers, while the match has a 67.2% chance of totaling over 2.5 goals. Newcastle have allowed fewer than two goals in five of their 12 home matches this season while allowing more than two goals in just one match at St. James’ Park. City have scored at least two goals in four straight matches while reaching that number in six of their 11 away matches this season, but predicting who finds the net for the Citizens is always difficult as five different players have contributed a goal over City’s last eight goals.

Despite his consistent floor, Sterling has averaged 17.6 FanDuel points over his last six matches while Paul Pogba ($11,000) has averaged 40.9 FanDuel points over that span. If DFS players want access to the Citizens’ attack against a Magpies squad that has allowed the seventh-most chances created (226) and fifth-most shots (319) to all positions this season, Leroy Sane ($10,000) -- who has recorded two goals and two assists over his last three matches -- could be the best way to go after City, and he also offers a bit of savings compared to Sterling.
