Wolves' shock 3-1 victory over Tottenham on Saturday saw them continue an impressive run of form that has produced four wins, a draw and a loss in six matches. Two of those wins came against Tottenham and Chelsea while the lone loss came against league-leaders Liverpool. Wolves' season started off well before cooling considerably for all of October and November. Since the started of December, however, they have returned to form and are currently seventh in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace 's three-match unbeaten streak, which included a victory over Manchester City, came to an end with their one-goal loss to Chelsea on Saturday. Despite their road victory over Manchester City, Palace have been one of the Premier League's worst away sides recently, conceding 8 goals over their last three road matches and 13 in their last six. On current form, Wolves are playing like an elite side, and Palace's defensive struggles on the road are likely to lead to an increase in opportunities for Moutinho on Wednesday.

Moutinho has featured heavily for Wolves during their return to form but only made a substitute appearance for 22 minutes against Tottenham on Saturday, signaling that he should be in for 90 minutes of action on Wednesday. Moutinho has at least one chance created in each of his last 12 appearances and produced an assist during his limited time against Tottenham. With the wealth of Manchester United and Chelsea midfielders available, Moutinho may go overlooked in a great spot.
