Ander Herrera or Fred, Midfielders, Manchester United

Ander Herrera's Salary: $8,000

Fred's Salary: $6,500

Since United's change in manager, Paul Pogba ($11,000) has been unstoppable, with four goals and three assists in three matches. Those are absurd numbers, and even if he continues playing well, it is unlikely that Pogba can maintain that level of production. However, the French star is likely to be the highest-owned United player on the slate on Wednesday, making his fellow midfield teammates interesting pivots for tournaments.

Herrera has been new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær's first choice alongside Pogba and Nemanja Matic, but the congested fixture schedule may lead to Fred starting in his place on Wednesday. With United's newfound attacking intent, whoever gets the start will be in an excellent position to produce against Newcastle at a fraction of the ownership of Pogba. Pairing Herrera or Fred with Romelu Lukaku and/or Juan Mata/Jesse Lingard -- depending on how United line up -- is an excellent way to gain exposure to the Red Devils while avoiding Pogba and Anthony Martial, who should be their two highest-owned players.

While Pogba has -- rightfully so -- received much of the spotlight from Manchester United's turnaround, the Red Devils' return to form has benefited everyone. Herrera has a goal and two assists in the three matches since Ole took over. In his 11 prior appearances this season, he had managed just a single goal and one assist. Lingard has two goals and two assists in the three matches since the managerial change, doubling his goal total for the season. All the attention is on Pogba, but Manchester United's revival has benefited the entire midfield, making whoever gets the start worthy of a pivot off of Pogba for tournaments.
