Super Bowl Futures Betting Update: Conference Championship Week

We have hit the final four teams left in contention to win the Super Bowl. And, if the NFL seedings are to be taken as gospel, whoever wins will be seen as something of an underdog. Especially after the No.1 seeds from both the NFC and AFC fell over the weekend. The Tennessee Titans and the Green Bay Packers could not get past the Cincinnati Bengals or San Francisco 49ers, despite both teams coming off a bye week.

Here are the latest odds for the four remaining teams, courtesy of the NFL odds.

Los Angeles Rams+21032.3%
San Francisco 49ers+45018.2%
Cincinnati Bengals+80011.1%

The bookies seem to like the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Rams building on their dramatic Divisional Round victories this past weekend and pushing on to the Super Bowl. It will be the Chiefs' third consecutive trip to the big game, while the Rams will be making their first visit since the 2018 season. But while the odds seem to suggest this will be the matchup, we cannot completely write off the prospect of a third Bengals and 49ers Super Bowl matchup. This happened twice in the 1980s, with Joe Montana leading his side to victory in both games.

After a wild Divisional round, take a minute, catch your breath. Rest while you can. Because we're going to do it all over again this weekend.
