3 Fantasy Football Quarterback Streaming Options for Week 15

Quarterback streaming isn't for everyone, but if you're in a standard league -- like a 10- or 12-team league that features just one starting signal caller -- grabbing potentially productive quarterbacks in good matchups off the waiver wire is often doable.

Sure, you won't have the luxury of setting it and forgetting it with Patrick Mahomes as your quarterback, but when the top-end signal-callers draw a tough matchup, their upside can oftentimes be matched by a waiver-wire option in a more favorable situation.

If you're looking for some quarterback options from the waiver wire -- regardless of league size -- we have you covered. Here are three quarterbacks rostered in fewer than roughly 40% of Yahoo leagues who are in good spots this week.

Philip Rivers, Colts

Yahoo Roster Percentage: 41%

Yes, this is the third straight week of Philip Rivers being in this piece, but he's playing well and has another good matchup. Rivers has put up 19.20 and 17.76 fantasy points in his past two outings, and that gives him five consecutive games of at least 16.32 fantasy points.

The matchup this week could hardly be better as the Indianapolis Colts host the Houston Texans. Houston sports the third-worst pass D and fourth-worst overall defense, per our schedule-adjusted numbers, and they've given up the ninth-most FanDuel points per game to quarterbacks (19.6). This game boasts a 51.0-point total, which doesn't hurt.

With Rivers rolling, getting a nice matchup, and the Colts playing important games, he's a fantastic streaming play in Week 15. We project him for 17.29 points, making him our QB16.

Jalen Hurts, Eagles

Yahoo Roster Percentage: 18%

Jalen Hurts showed pretty well in his debut, posting 19.28 fantasy points in a tough spot against the New Orleans Saints. Hurts did a lot of damage as a runner, totaling 106 rushing yards on 18 attempts, and that kind of ground work boosts both his floor and his ceiling.

This week, Hurts will face off with an Arizona Cardinals defense that is roughly a league-average unit and is an easier matchup across the board than the Saints were. The Cards have been susceptible to running quarterbacks, too, surrendering the sixth-most rushing yards to the position.

We have Hurts producing 17.30 fantasy points and slot him in as our QB15 for the week. If you prefer him to Rivers, you won't get much of an argument from me. They're both superb streaming options this week.

Nick Mullens, 49ers

Yahoo Roster Percentage: 5%

After Hurts and Rivers, things get dicey, but I can stomach starting Nick Mullens this week in two-quarterback formats.

Mullens draws a sweet matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, a defense we have as the sixth-worst unit in the league. Dallas has allowed the 11th-most fantasy points per game to signal callers (19.2), and the Niners are 3.0-point favorites with a respectable 24.25-point total.

Our model has Mullens scoring 15.58 points, ranking him as our QB22.
