Saying that 2015 was a bad year for the Packers doesn't really do it justice. After losing Jordy Nelson to an ACL tear before the season, the offense graded out as the 12th-best in the NFL.

In 2014, they led the league in Adjusted NEP (188.08) and were one of just three teams to top 150 in the metric. In 2015, Aaron Rodgers posted a Passing NEP per drop back of 0.06, well below the league average of 0.11. We can probably expect him to light that score on fire because his score has been 0.27 since taking over as the team's starter, a mark that would rank him tops all time since 2000 if we remove his backup years and 2015.

Defensively, the team ranked 11th overall in efficiency, and they was good enough to get close to a threatening playoff run. They're the eighth-most likely team to reach the playoffs this year with a 54.0% chance.
