10. Houston Texans, 1.83 nERD

Houston started the 2015 season 1-4 but reeled off an 8-3 record on the back end to earn a playoff berth. We won't discuss how that went, but making the playoffs is no small feat.

That team isn't returning intact, as there is a new quarterback in town -- Brock Osweiler -- and a new feature back, too: Lamar Miller. DeAndre Hopkins finished fourth in Reception NEP (143.89) among receivers, and this has the potential to be a worrisome offense for opponents in 2016.

Houston did rank 10th in rushing defense but were 3rd overall and against the pass. Even if the new offense isn't a massive improvement on their 25th-ranked unit from last year, they're the favorite in the AFC South with a 51.7% chance to make the playoffs and a 42.9% chance to win the division.
