6. Kansas City Chiefs, 4.99 nERD

Teams that start 1-5 aren't supposed to make the playoffs. Teams that lose their star running back aren't supposed to win 10 straight games. The Chiefs, apparently, weren't having any of that last season.

Behind a defense that ranked fourth overall, fourth against the pass, and ninth against the run, the Chiefs used the third-best rushing attack in the league to attain an 11-5 record even without Jamaal Charles to lead the way all season. Spencer Ware and Charcandrick West picked up the slack, though Ware's metrics blew West's out of the water.

They might not be an elite squad, but they should have the edge in the AFC West this season.
