Daniel Braverman, WR, Chicago Bears

What stands out most about Daniel Braverman and his fit in Chicago is their dire need for a consistent performer in the slot. Operating almost exclusively there during his Western Michigan days, Braverman has the quickness and suddenness to make an immediate impact despite being a seventh-round draft pick.

At just 177 pounds, Braverman will need to bulk up by working with the team's training staff, but he's proven he can be effective operating at that weight. Over his final two seasons, he accrued 194 receptions for 2,364 yards and 19 touchdowns. During his final year, Braverman's 3.27 yards per route run from the slot led the 2016 draft class per ProFootballFocus.

A subpar, under-sized athlete for the NFL, Braverman will also need to work on his technical attributes if trying to make a career and avoid routinely finishing the year on injured reserve. Fine-tuning his breaks off the line and fakes at the stem of his routes and perfecting the nuances of his cuts could help Braverman truly excel if given a shot in 2017 after bulking up some.

Braverman only has 30-year old journeyman Eddie Royal to beat in order to see significant snaps from the slot in Chicago. The depth behind him will likely move on in 2017 with Marc Mariani, Marquess Wilson, and Deonte Thompson all playing on one-year contracts. If Braverman can add some weight and is willing to work hard with the coaching staff, he could potentially pay off as a consistent PPR target in the future.
