5 Late-Round NFL Draft Picks to Target in Fantasy Football Rookie Drafts

It's easy to recommend Ezekiel Elliott and Corey Coleman for your rookie drafts, but who are some late-round rookies you should target with the potential to pay off big?

Late-round picks in the draft are usually a gamble by NFL teams. These players either typically need more time to develop, aren't quite there athletically, or faced sub-par competition at the college level, often leaving questions around their pedigree.

Over the past two years, we've seen some early returns on prospects taken in the sixth round or later such as Thomas Rawls, Willie Snead, Isaiah Crowell, and Allen Hurns. After seeing when and where this year's class of rookies were drafted, the combination of talent and destination is trending towards a clear, top-heavy first round in rookie drafts.

As much as we want our fourth- or fifth-round rookie picks to hit, the probability that they do isn't in our favor.
