2. Carson Palmer, Arizona Cardinals

Fourth Quarter Passing NEP: 36.27
Fourth Quarter Passing NEP per Drop Back: 0.29

Few people are probably surprised to see Carson Palmer rank so high on this list after a masterful 2015 campaign. No quarterback had a higher Passing NEP total than Palmer this past season, while Dalton was the only one to be more efficient with each drop back.

Palmer, though, was less effective in the fourth quarter than he was throughout the first three, as his per drop back NEP of 0.33 on the season was higher than his fourth-quarter score. Palmer still managed an 8.3 yards per attempt average in the fourth, though, which was the third highest in the league. And he had a Success Rate -- the percentage of passes that contribute positively in terms of NEP -- that was above 50 percent, which only a few quarterbacks accomplished on this list.
