Doug Martin continues his surprising resurgence after a two-year "Where happened to that dude?" campaign. And this Sunday he has the potential to literally (okay maybe not literally) explode.

But why could the Muscle Hamster turn into a ball of combustible flames? Because he and the Bucs get to square up against the division-rival Saints, who, per our numbers have the 25th-worst rushing offense in the league, and have given up more than 100 yards rushing to eight teams this season.

Somewhat surprisingly, Martin is second in the league in rushing yards, and leads the league in number of rushes that go for over 20 yards (11). The Saints have given up the third-most rushes over 20 yards this season, so this matchup should be right up Martin's wheelhouse. Moreover, the Bucs still operate a fairly conservative offense, largely because they have rookie quarterback Jameis Winston steering the ship. As such the team registers the fourth-lowest pass-to-run ratio in the league, which is another plus for Martin, who's eclipsed 20 or more touches in three out of the last four games.

With the highest over/under of the week (50.5) and the Bucs sitting as 3.5-point home favorites, the matchup and projected game script align for Martin to do big boy work in Week 14.
