At this point in the season, I just can't quit Cam Newton. For cash games, if you are willing to pony up for his salary, Newton provides the safest floor due to the Panthers' commitment to letting him run, which to date, averages nine times per game this season. At a healthy 39.7 rushing yards per game to go with 7 rushing touchdowns on the season, Newton is always a threat to put up 10 points or more in a single game by rushing alone.

But let's not discount what he’s doing in the passing game, either. While he hasn't been particularly efficient, sporting a 0.10 Passing NEP per drop back, he has done assassin's work in the red zone, tossing 19 touchdowns compared to 0 interceptions. And an under-noticed factor in Newton's success is that despite the fact that the Panthers have the lowest pass-to-run ratio in the NFL, their second-ranked overall defense is so good at shutting down opposing offenses that the Panthers' actually have tallied the eight-most offensive plays in the league this season.

With a voluminous offense in which he can get his through the air or on the ground, Newton figures to be a great cash game option against the reeling Falcons' 15th-and-20th ranked run and pass defenses respectively. Fire him up as normal.
