Charcandrick West ($5,800)

Charcandrick West took over the Cheifs' backfield when Jamaal Charles went down with injury, and saw a big workload until he suffered an injury of his own. Spencer Ware saw an uptick in touches with West out, but it's looking like West is retaking his role. While his Week 13 numbers were lackluster, he still played 67% of the Chiefs' snaps versus 33% for Ware.

West has a role in both the running and passing game, and is averaging 17.2 carries and 4.2 targets per game since he took over the starting job.

As I mentioned, the Chiefs have the highest implied total of the week right now at 27.5, and they are huge 10-points favorites. This means West could see a ton of carries should the game gets out of hand.

The Chargers are also a great matchup for West, as they rank 30th in the NFL with a schedule-adjusted 0.07 Defensive Rushing NEP per play. West has an easy matchup and the potential for a big workload, which is just about all you can ask for out of a budget-friendly running back.
