Bilal Powell is still flying under the radar and deeply discounted, but he has quietly seen his role expand in the Jets' backfield.
He has lead Jets running backs in snaps in two of their last three games, and his 54% of snaps played in that span is by far the best of the group, with Chris Ivory coming in second at only 40%.
He only has 16 carries in that span, but he's being used extensively in the passing game, with 25 his targets in the last three games accounting for 19.8% of all the Jets' targets.
He has been fairly effective with the ball in his hands, and among the Jets' backs with at least 10 carries on the season, he ranks first in both Rushing NEP and Reception NEP.
