Jordan Reed, TE, Washington Redskins

ESPN Ownership: 32%
Yahoo Ownership: 55%

I know, I know. Jordan Reed can never stay healthy long enough to remain a legitimate season-long force for the Redskins. It's a fair point, but I think you should ignore the doubts and get him on your roster if you don't have any viable options at tight end right now.

We already knew if he could stay healthy that his opportunity would be big given the season-long absences of his primary competition in Niles Paul and Logan Paulsen. But Reed is coming off of a game against the Dolphins where he received 11 targets, converting 7 for catches to go with 63 yards and a touchdown. Moreover, according to Football Outsiders, the Dolphins were the fifth toughest defense against tight ends in the entire league in 2014, so he did good work against some pretty stiff competition.

Before being plagued by injuries for nearly the entire season in 2014, Reed actually had a great 2013 efficiency-wise, registering a very impressive 0.95 Reception NEP per target. If he can continue putting his 2013-era performances, he will be a steal off of the waiver wire, particularly while DeSean Jackson remains sidelined with a hamstring injury.

With low ownership levels right now, chances are decent that Reed is available in your league. Pounce if you're hurting at tight end.
