Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Minnesota Vikings

I considered putting Johnny Manziel here, but I'm very much a fan of his philosophy when it comes to football, because I think it meshes well with mine in the fantasy playoffs: YOLO. Instead of Johnny, I'm going to toss out a gentleman who's been rapidly stepping up his game, and looks to have a great career ahead of him, as long as we don't judge him solely on his 2014 Week 15 numbers. That is Teddy Bridgewater.

I know, most of you aren't likely starting him anyway, but this is a reminder to not get cute with your playoff team. Don't start looking at Teddy's 17 point average over the last few weeks and dreaming; he's your fantasy QB2 for a reason. The Vikings' offense on the whole has been very stop-start this season, and Teddy himself has had some issues with throwing multiple interceptions in games, and being held to less than 200 yards in a week five times. He's a rookie, and these things are to be expected. But keep this in mind for Bridgewater as well as Manziel and any other likely backup you're thinking about starting in Week 15: you're in the playoffs; YOLO, but YOLO smart.

Did I also mention that the Vikings travel to Detroit this week, who rank eighth in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP this year?
