Aaron Rodgers Scores 42.9 Fantasy Points

In recent seasons, teams have been propelled to Fantasy championships thanks to the deeds of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. By his own lofty standards, 2018 has been something of a let-down, but if you went into your Super Bowl needing a big game from Rodgers he did not disappoint.

Thanks to his second career game with two rushing touchdowns, Rodgers scored a whopping 42.9 fantasy points against the New York Jets on Sunday. He had a third rushing score called back by penalty. Rodgers attempted 55 passes, completing 37 of them for 442 yards and two more touchdowns. It marked just the second time in NFL history that a quarterback had 400 yards passing, two passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns in a game. The last player to achieve the feat was also Rodgers, back in 2011.

This was easily Rodgers' best fantasy game of the season, and according to numberFire metrics one of his best games period. Rodgers' 0.29 Passing NEP per drop back were his second-most of the year, behind only his Week 1 mark of 0.36. The Packers' season was, for all intents and purposes, already over before Sunday's game, but their talismanic quarterback ensured at least one magical moment to remember it by.
