Brandin Cooks Has Another 1,000-Yard Season

The offense of the Los Angeles Rams is famous for spreading the love in terms of who gets the touches and targets from week to week. However, one of their favorite weapons in the passing game is undoubtedly wide receiver Brandin Cooks. With 62 yards of Sunday against the Detroit Lions, Cooks went to 1,026 yards for the season.

This is the fourth consecutive season with at least 1,000 yards receiving for Cooks, and he is the first player in NFL history to have 1,000 yards with three different teams in three consecutive seasons. Five more players have had at least one 1,000 yard season with three different teams during their careers. Hall-of-Famers Terrell Owens and Randy Moss as well as Tony Martin and Irving Fryar achieved the feat with three different teams. But Brandon Marshall has managed it with four different teams during his career (the Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears and New York Jets).

Cooks managed just 10.2 fantasy points against the Lions, but he'll be looking to bounce back next week when the Rams take on the Bears. A whopping 21 wide receivers have amassed double-digit fantasy points against the Bears this season, with 12 going for more than 15.
