Despite an incredible 20:1 touchdown-to-interception ratio, Aaron Rodgers has had a down year when it comes to being a fantasy quarterback.

Rodgers has struggled to get acclimated with a new batch of receivers following the departure of Jordy Nelson and the prolonged absence of Randall Cobb. The Packers' signal caller has eclipsed the 20-point mark on FanDuel in just 36% of his starts, while also recording 16 points or less in 36% of his starts. The floor has been lower than it's ever been, and the ceiling hasn't been touched very often, either.

Another factor contributing to Rodgers' fantasy decline is the emergence of Aaron Jones, who coach Mike McCarthy is (finally) trusting with bell-cow usage. With Jones averaging 6.0 yards per carry, Green Bay has been leaning more on the ground attack rather than have Rodgers chuck it 40 times per game. With the Packers being 14-point home favorites against a Cardinals defense that is vulnerable to the run but stout against the pass, we can expect a heavy dose of Jones again this week.

At $8,300, there are much better options at the quarterback position if you are looking to spend. Given Rodgers' recent form and the likelihood of a decrease in passing attempts due to game flow, look elsewhere this week.
