Tyler Boyd has been a popular target over the last few weeks, as the absence of A.J. Green has opened a huge portion of Cincinnati's receiving market share and funneled more targets in Boyd's direction.

With Green due back this week, Boyd should fall back to the third option in this Bengals' offense behind the veteran Green and running back Joe Mixon. After getting at least eight targets in three of the last four games, it's fair to assume Boyd's volume will see a decline this week. Boyd will also be receiving passes from backup Jeff Driskel after Andy Dalton fractured his thumb last week, so there are efficiency concerns here as well.

Perhaps the biggest negative for Boyd this week is his individual matchup against slot-maven Chris Harris. The Broncos as a team are middle-of-the-pack in terms of passing yardage allowed, but they have given up just a 14:10 touchdown-to-interception ratio through 11 games. Harris himself should see a lot of Boyd in the slot, and he has a track record of being a shutdown presence at the slot-corner position. Harris is the NFL leader in each of the last four seasons in snaps per reception.

With concerns regarding volume, efficiency and matchup, Boyd is a clear avoid this week at his salary.
