8 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 13
Jalen Richard, RB, Oakland Raiders
For a back who relies on efficiency or rushing volume, the fact that the Oakland Raiders are 15.5-point underdogs against the Chiefs would be a concern.
For Jalen Richard, though, that could actually give his value a boost.
Used only sparingly to run the ball, Richard's 30 carries this season are the fewest in his three-year NFL career. His 63 targets are already crushing his previous career-high of 39, though, and he has fewer than 4 targets in only one game this season, averaging 5.7 per contest. Just looking at losses, that average jumps to 6.0 per game.
He has also out-snapped Doug Martin over the last three games, playing 85 snaps to Martin's 72.
The Chiefs allow the league's third-most receptions (7.1) and targets (8.8) per game to running backs while also giving up the league's most fantasy production to the position. A negative game script isn't usually what you want to see for running backs, but Richard also isn't a usual running back. He's hard to bench this week in PPR formats.
