Lamar Jackson will be this Week's Top Rusher

By now we've probably all heard about Lamar Jackson's record-breaking debut as the Baltimore Ravens starting quarterback. In case you missed it, he carried the ball 26 times for 117 rushing yards -- the most rushing attempts by a quarterback ever in the post-merger NFL. He's got some serious legs.

And this week he's going to go back to that well. The Oakland Raiders are not an intimidating matchup at all. According to numberFire's Power Rankings they are the third-worst defense in the league. They've let every team they've played score at least 20 points against them and have surrendered the fifth-most total points in the league, but two of the teams in front of them have played an extra game.

They haven't been a great rushing defense either, and in a small sample size have been pretty giving to opposing quarterbacks when they rush the football. Excluding quarterback kneels -- which the Raiders have faced their fair share of this year -- opposing quarterbacks have been successful (or added points to their team's expected points total) on 9 of 16 quarterback rushes for an impressive 56.25% Success Rate.

And it's not like they played many athletic quarterbacks in that sample size, either. Case Keenum and Ryan Tannehill had a 100% Success Rate in their tilts against the Raiders, Baker Mayfield posted a 66% Success Rate. Lamar Jackson is on another level entirely from those quarterbacks. In his Week 11 start he had an impressive 52.17% Success Rate on his rushes, meaning he was consistently adding value with his legs for the Ravens.

The Raiders simply won't be able to stop LJax this week. He has a rushing ability we've never seen on the football field before, and if his rushing volume this week is anything like it was last week they're going to be in serious trouble. Against this leaky defense, Lamar Jackson is going to be Week 12's leader in rushing yards.
