Willie Snead, WR, Baltimore Ravens

DraftKings Price: $4,400

Projected Points: 9.61

Projected Value (points per $1,000): 2.18

Baltimore unveiled the Lamar Jackson show last week, taking the ground-and-pound approach by running the ball 54 times in 77 plays. While it proved to be successful for one week, we can still expect the Baltimore Ravens to have more than 19 pass attempts in future games.

Even with a run-heavy gameplan, Willie Snead had eight of Jackson’s targets and lead the team in air yards (58). His Weighted Opportunity Rating (via airyards.com) of 0.83 was also tops for the Ravens.

This is not a one week blip though, as Snead has quietly taken over as the team’s leading receiver in recent weeks. His 34 targets lead the group over the past four games, despite his running slightly fewer routes (93, per Pro Football Focus) than John Brown and Michael Crabtree. Over those four games, Snead is 14th in the league in targets, and while his 7.9-yard average depth of target (aDOT) is low compared to his teammates, that allows him to haul in targets with a high catch rate.

Snead has been very consistent this year, hitting 10 DraftKings points in nine of the 11 games he has played, and the streak should continue this week. While that doesn't scream tournament upside, Snead is an interesting play for cash game formats where floors are typically favored. To top it all off, the Ravens are playing at home against the Oakland Raiders, who sit dead-last in our Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play metric.
