Tyrell Williams, WR, San Diego Chargers

FanDuel Price: $6,500

DraftKings Price: $4,800

If I were to dive into a wide receiver who was due for regression, the Saints' Michael Thomas would be the obvious candidate due to his otherworldly catch rate and overall efficiency to this point. Thomas could drop his next 10 targets and still be setting the NFL record for the highest catch rate in league history. Alas, Thomas seems to be above any sort of statistical explanation, so I'm not going there.

Instead, lets take a look at Tyrell Williams and examine why his numbers to date are simply unsustainable. Williams is among the league leaders at the wide receiver position in catch-rate (72.2%) despite also having one of the highest average depth of target (aDot) numbers in the NFL at 15.6 yards. "The Gazelle" also is second in the NFL (behind only DeSean Jackson) in yards per catch at a silly 19.1. This is all despite having just a 13% market share of targets in this Chargers' offense.

We saw last week that Keenan Allen got a bit of the "squeaky wheel" treatment after complaining about his lack of targets the previous week. One has to wynder if Philip Rivers continues to appease the alpha member of this wide receiver crew again this week. To further complicate matters for Tyrell, the Chargers are a sizable 7-point home favorite in this one, so expect a lot of Melvin Gordon in the second-half if San Diego gets out to an early lead.

It only takes one bomb for Williams to pay off his salary, but we can bank on those occurrences becoming less frequent given his unsustainable efficiency to this point in the season. Avoid this San Diego wideout in Week 11.
